What if women, paid for everything, opened doors, pulled out chairs and totally took on the role of being the man? Would the metro-sexual men of 2008 be able to handle such a lady?
My guess is probably not. Men say they want an independent woman, but, there is a big difference and a fine line, between a woman who is able to take care of herself and one who ends up emasculating her partner.
Ladies, we have a tendency to either be totally independent or completely dependent, sadly we fail to find the middle ground.
It's alright to be independent and pay your own way (Ms.Independent), but we have to be careful not to step on our men's toes. Not to say that we can't or shouldn't split the bill or pay it in full, but to ask any ONE person to pay for everything ALL the time is too much.
There are other ways to trade places with your beau without causing turmoil, but those kinds of things are better handled in the boudoir!

Just as we have been told, "There is a thin line between Love and Hate". It is a thin line as well, when it comes to an Independent Woman and Woman that can support and lift up her significant other. I man claims to want an independent woman, but at the same time she must now how to consistently let her man be a man. Just my look into the crystal ball on this subject. The author, illustrates both sides of this subject well.

You know it's all about compromise, give and take and effective communication. Nothing wrong a strong Independent Women holding it down. But there has to be a balance. Some women have been holding it down by themselves for so long its's hard to strike the right balance. My belief is if you have a "Diamond in the rough" try effectivley communicating your thoughts and feelings! If the "Independent Women" still can't hear you.......you may need to let that one go and keep digging.
YES MAM IT IS ALL ABOUT COMPROMISE. BUT I BELEIVE THAT WOMEN DO COMPROMISE ALOT MORE THAN MEN THINK. (SOMETIMES WE AS WOMEN FAIL 2 REALIZE THAT WE DO IT UNCONSCIENCLY) SUCH AS IRONING, COOKING, CLEANING, GIVING BIRTH, MENTALLY, PHYSICALL-SEXUALLY ETC.
WE AS WOMEN JUST NEED TO UNDERSTAND ITS OK TO "DO FOR UR MAN" WHEN THE RELATIONSHIP IS 50-50. Y DO 4 SUM1 THAT DOES NOT DO 4 U! "TREAT THOSE HOW U WISH 2 B TREATED"
